Hedera helix Elija is an attractive, dark-green ivy that is suitable for hanging baskets and other containers. A popular houseplant due to its adaptability and the aesthetic value of its dark green, diamond-shaped leaves. Keep the compost moist at all times, and indirect bright light is best! But not to worry if you can provide this, the hedera is exceptionally shade tolerant.

They may need some root trimming on shoots that become long and untidy. Otherwise, just let them do their thing, and they will still thrive!
Green varieties are better in low-light areas than more variegated types.
